2-yr-old abandoned at Goodwill store with note written on paper towel and bag of clothes

On Monday morning, a guy escorted the 2-year-old inside the Goodwill store and then left without him.

The youngster was left with a message scrawled on a paper towel and a small bag containing fresh clothing and food.

The member of staff who took the youngster stated the man approached him and said, the boy’s mother couldn’t care for him before walking away.

The toddler was carrying a plastic bag with a change of clothing and a message scrawled on a paper towel that stated “child abandoned…no phone number for mom.”

However, employees stated he was too young to tell them anything about his mother and could only raise two fingers when asked how old he was.

Later that day, Southaven Police said that the youngster had been identified and was now in the care of Mississippi Child Protective Services.

Cops said a suspect was apprehended and no other details could be shared at this time.

I hope and pray that this youngster is placed in a caring and safe household and has no memories of this heinous event in his life.

Please share to show your love and to express your wish that a suitable solution be reached in his case.
