Amber Heard admits to NOT honoring promised $3,500,000 donation to charity.

Amber Heard has now admitted to not paying her pledged $3.5 million payment to the ACLU after pretending to have done so.

Heard testified on Monday that it was Depp’s lawsuit that prevented her from donating her whole $7 million divorce settlement.

Heard, on the other hand, has asserted multiple times, including under oath in Depp’s 2020 libel action in the UK, that she gave the full settlement to charity.

In 2018, Heard went on the Dutch talk program RTL Late Night and stated, $7 million total was donated. She split it between the ACLU and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Heard stated in court today that she still has to make the entire gift since Johnny sued her for $50million in March of 2019.

Heard stated that she completely plans to fulfill all of her commitments. She would like him to quit suing her so she can.

ACLU Head Testifies Amber Heard Paid Less Than Half Of $3.5 Million Pledge

In day 11 of actor Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard, ACLU COO and lawyer Terence Dougherty testified Thursday that Heard has donated half of her $3.5 million pledge. Dougherty said he understood that the sum was coming from Heard’s divorce settlement from her ex-husband, Depp. Read More: https://www.newsweek.com/johnny-depp-amber-heard-live-trial-updates-court-elon-musk-1701378?preview=1 THUMB: Associated Press/Pool

Terence Dougherty, the ACLU’s Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, affirmed earlier in the hearing and stated that just $1.3 million had been paid by Heard or on her behalf so far.

Heard gave $350,000 immediately in December 2018 and has not paid anything since. Depp paid $100,000, with the remaining $350,000 coming from a Fidelity investment fund.Another $500,000 payment came through a Vanguard account, which Dougherty claimed he thought was a fund set up by Elon Musk.

Elaine Bredehoft, Heard’s lawyer, questioned why Heard accepted a $7 million settlement from Depp.

Honey explained that she didn’t care about the money. They were warned that if she didn’t agree to a figure, it may be reversed, and that they would never reach an agreement. She took substantially less than they were providing and far less than she was entitled to.

Heard explained that she gave the money to charity as she was “never interested in Johnny’s money.”

She explained that she only wanted her well being and her future, and he jeopardized it. She wished he would leave her alone. She has been expressing that since 2016.

For those who might be unaware of what’s happening between the couple- Depp, 58, is suing his ex-wife for $50 million after she alleged in a Washington Post op-ed in 2018 that she was a victim of domestic abuse. Although Depp’s name was not included in the story, he claimed the incident cost him $40 million in acting possibilities, including his well-known role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean film.

Meanwhile, Heard, 36, is counter suing for $100 million, claiming that Depp’s accusations have ruined her reputation and destroyed her career.
