After His Son Is Branded ‘Monster,’ Idaho Dad Confronts His Tormentors.

Jackson Bezzant was eating breakfast in the school cafeteria when three bigger lads approached him and began insulting and tormenting him. The first-grader from Rigby, Idaho, sat silently being harassed as he was labeled a “monster” and “ugly” until a teacher’s assistant eventually took notice and halted the brutal agony before it progressed further. However, the situation was far from finished.

When Jackson’s dad learned what had occurred to his son, he burst into tears. Sadly, Dan Bezzant’s sweet son has received a lot of mockery due to his features. This wasn’t the first time Jackson had been bullied, but Dan was adamant that it would be the last. Enough was enough, and the father was going to send a message to all of his son’s tormentors.

Jackson was born with Treacher Collins syndrome, and his looks drew a lot of criticism. The uncommon disorder disrupts bone and facial tissue development, resulting in inappropriate growth and obvious deformities. Due to it, both Jackson’s eyesight and hearing are significantly affected. He wears hearing aids and has even had surgery to reconstruct his eye socket. Unfortunately, he will need to have many more surgeries during his life.

To say he goes through plenty as a result of his disability is an understatement. Bullying, on the other hand, is the worst since it is absolutely unneeded and avoidable. Nonetheless, Jackson has received insults from individuals of all ages, with adults being the most vicious.

When the saddened father resolved to take a stance for his kid, he never envisaged the reception his attempts would generate. He turned to Facebook with a dramatic, heart breaking, and even scary public message. Dan’s remarks, which taught everybody a thing or two about bullying, immediately spread like wildfire as readers understood how sorely his message was required.

His heart is in shreds right now, and his soul feels like it’s ripping from his chest, Dan explained. This wonderful young man, his son Jackson, has to deal with a continual bombardment of insulting words and stupidity like he’s never seen before. On a regular basis, his classmates refer to him as “ugly,” “weird,” and “monster.”

He talks about suicide at the age of eight! Dan said that bullying was having its toll. He says he has no pals and everybody dislikes him. Kids hurl rocks at him and shove him while screaming these heinous insults, the distraught father said. Please, please take a moment to pretend that this is one’s kid. Spend a few minutes teaching one’s children about unique needs. Talk to them about love and compassion for their fellow man, Dan implored other parents who saw his article, trying to help Jackson and others like him.

Treacher Collins is the name given to his ailment. One could even search it up. He’s had harrowing surgery and will have numerous more in the coming years, Dan continued. Please educate one’s kids, he emphasized again, emphasizing the need of talking to their kids about topics they may not grasp at first. He closed by encouraging people to “spread” Jackson’s tale since this should never occur to anybody.

While some may blame the school or even the instructors for Jackson’s bullying, Dan does not and does not want others to either. Rather, he wants to place the responsibility where it belongs: with the parents, who must teach their kids love, compassion, and acceptance. Dan stated that he wants parents to see his post and feel his heart shatter. Please educate one’s children and teach them that bullying is not acceptable.

Students at Jackson’s school came out to him and his family after reading Dan’s message, seeking to befriend and defend the youngster. Children are naturally interested, and when they don’t comprehend what they’re witnessing, that curiosity may turn harsh. A lot of bullying is probably accidental, since youngsters comment on what they see without thinking about the truth or how they could make others feel. But, as Dan illustrated, a little information may solve a lot of misery.
