Amber Heard admits to still LOVING Johnny Depp despite insisting he DID rape and beat her

Amber Heard has revealed that she ‘definitely still loves’ her ex-husband Johnny Depp, though once again accusing him of physical abuse throughout their relationship and arguing that her lack of obvious scars does not indicate her accusations were ‘false’ or a ‘big lie.’

During a wide-ranging Today show interview with Savannah Guthrie, the 36-year-old actress spoke out about the harassment she asserts she received at the hands of her former spouse, just days after she was proven guilty of slandering Depp, 59, in a Washington Post op-ed in which she claimed she was a victim of ‘domestic abuse.’

In the third instalment of the interview, which will air in its entirety on NBC’s Dateline on Friday, Heard reacted to many instances during the trial when she was accused of ‘telling lies,’ such as statements that she ‘hoaxed’ injuries on her face and accusations that she tipped off TMZ about when she planned to visit a courthouse to file a restraining order against her ex-husband.

She then responded to the outpouring of outrage she received after it was found that she had failed to honour the $3.5 million payment to the ACLU that she stated she had made from her $7 million divorce settlement, saying that she had only ever intended to make that ‘pledge over time.’

Heard also discussed her future intentions, admitting that she now hopes to be a ‘full-time parent’ to her one-year-old little girl Oonagh Paige – only hours after her team was forced to reject claims that the actress had been dropped from her $2 million part in Aquaman 2.

The third and final instalment of the three-part interview aired one day after Heard publicly blamed Depp of physical violence again on Tuesday morning, asserting that she will stand by every word of her testimony until her last breath, less than two weeks after she was held liable of defaming the actor by stating that he sexually abused her during their marriage.

Guthrie, 50, asked Heard if she still ‘loves’ her ex-husband, to which she replied, ‘Yes.’ Absolutely. Absolutely. I adore him. I loved him with all my heart and did everything I could to salvage a profoundly shattered relationship. And I couldn’t do it. I have no ill will or negative sentiments for him. If you’ve ever loved someone, you know it might be difficult to grasp or really simple.’

Having admitted that she ‘still loves’ her ex-husband, she has doubled down on her assertions that he physically attacked her throughout their relationship, denying claims that she ‘fabricated’ bruising to prosecute him and asserting that she would have been charged with lying whether or not she had visible wounds.
