Amber Heard & Johnny Depp’s Lawyer Go At It Over Secret Recording In Explosive Courtroom Moment.
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s lawyers had a heated exchange in court after the actress was blamed of being the genuine instigator in their notorious Australia brawl.
On Tuesday, Heard proceeded to testify for the second day of cross-examination. Camille Vasquez, Depp’s lawyer, spent a significant amount of time seeking to punch holes in the star’s stories.
In March 2015, Vasquez concentrated on the reported occurrences. The pair was in Australia as Depp was filming the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
According to Heard, Depp embarked on a three-day binge that involved him taking a bunch of MDMA tablets. He was a monster, she added, smashing everything throughout the rental property.
During the insanity, he hacked off a part of his finger and scrawled gibberish on the walls with a mixture of his blood and paint, according to the actress. She revealed how he purportedly entered her with a vodka bottle while holding her by the neck on a kitchen counter.
Depp earlier testified that Heard flung a vodka bottle at him, injuring his finger. He told the jurors, she flung the bottle, and it made contact and smashed everywhere.
Heard retorted that her ex-husband’s memories could not be trusted. According to Depp’s lawyer, she did not seek medical care or take pictures of her purported wounds.
Vasquez then, at that point, played a sound recording of Heard and Depp taken after the supposed battle and rape. The two are heard discussing their relationship and what occurred at the rental home.
Vasquez then played an audio tape of Heard and Depp that was captured following the purported altercation and sexual assault. The two may be heard discussing their relationship and what transpired at the rented house.
The actress is heard telling Depp that he runs away from their fights.
Depp stated that a boxer needs a rest and can’t go 12 rounds. He stated he tried five toilets to get away from Heard, but she followed him.
Vasquez attempted to imply that Heard was the one yelling with Depp and caused disruption at the house. She demanded that Heard concede to banging on five separate toilet doors as Depp attempted to flee.
According to Heard, her ex-husband was not an “accurate historian.” Things grew heated when Vasquez told the actress that it wasn’t her inquiry and attempted to redirect her.
The Aquaman star exclaimed that she was there. She recalls it. She knocked on one door. She denied pursuing Depp about the house and claimed she only checked on him once because she suspected he had taken too much MDMA.
Vasquez then demanded that Heard acknowledge that Depp lost a finger when she hurled a bottle of alcohol at him. Heard answered “no,” standing by her narrative that the actor hurt himself by shattering a phone.
She said she never assaulted him in Australia or anywhere else. Vasquez pressed Heard, claiming Depp was fleeing her by rushing to the restroom, but Heard responded it was “untrue.”
Depp’s lawyer then questioned whether she was afraid of him at all? To which Heard replied that she had a mixed relationship. She stated that she was terrified of him while also loving him.
She said that he was a guy who attempted to murder not just her but also her spouse. Vasquez then asked that the majority of Heard’s response be removed from the record.
