Amber Heard says her role in Aquaman 2 was cut down amid Johnny Depp controversy

Amber Heard has said that her involvement in Aquaman 2 was considerably reduced due to her legal struggle with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

The actor said in court today (16 May) that she battled incredibly hard to stay in the movie. They refused to feature her in the film.

She explained she was given a screenplay and then given different versions of the script that removed action sections. Without giving any spoilers away, that represented her character and another character battling with one another. They effectively took a lot of her responsibilities away from her. They just deleted a large number.

Heard alleges that her role in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which is planned to be released in 2023, was slashed after Depp’s crew dismissed her original abuse allegations as a “hoax.”

Heard claimed in Fairfax County, Virginia, that she was paid $1 million for the first Aquaman feature, as well as a box office bonus, which was released in 2018. She also stated that her contract stated that she would be paid $2 million for the second film.

When Elaine Bredehoft, Heard’s lawyer, inquired if she had found employment subsequently, Heard said, she had done one tiny independent picture.

Depp is suing Heard for $50 million after she implied in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that he assaulted her. Despite the fact that she did not name him, he maintains her charges affected his capacity to work.

Heard’s direct examination ended mid-afternoon today, and cross-examination has already commenced. Heard spoke extensively regarding her problematic relationship with Depp, including details of purported violent clashes. A horrifying description of an alleged sexual assault on Heard during a vicious and bloody argument in Australia in 2015 was heard in court.
