Anne Heche died without a will, son files to control estate

Anne Heche died abruptly in August 2022, leaving two boys behind. Anne died without a will, and now her oldest son, Homer Heche Laffoon, is requesting that he be named executor of her estate.

Homer has also demanded the ability to act in the best interests of his younger sibling.

Homer Laffoon filed the request in Los Angeles in late August 2022. In his plea, he stated that he is unsure about his mom’s personal possessions and yearly income at the time of her death.

A trial on the matter is scheduled for mid-September.

Homer is Anne’s ex-husband Coleman “Coley” Laffoon’s son. Following Anne’s passing, Coley posted an emotional video on Instagram.

Coley stated he simply wished to say a few words in the aftermath of Anne’s death. One, he adored her and will continue to do so. Two, Homer is OK. Of course, he’s in mourning, and it’s difficult for him. It’s difficult, as anyone might understand, but he’s surrounded by family, he’s tough, and he’ll be well.

Ones check-ins, showing them their heart, providing prayers and all, it’s really amazing, Coley said of individuals who were keeping tabs on Homer. Thank you very much. It’s difficult for him, difficult for his family, and especially difficult for Homer. But they have each other, and they have a lot of support, so they’ll be OK.

On August 11, 2022, Anne Heche was confirmed dead following a tragic vehicle accident that resulted in catastrophic injuries. Following her death, her organs were donated.

At the time, her spokesman commented, they have lost a bright light, a kind and joyous spirit, a devoted mom, and a steadfast friend. Anne will be greatly missed, but her gorgeous boys, renowned body of work, and impassioned activism will continue on.
