Anne Heche’s son says he is ‘left with a deep, wordless sadness’

Homer Laffoon, Anne Heche’s oldest son, voiced his sorrow in a recently released statement after a representative declared her to be legally deceased. Heche, 53, passed away on Friday after spending nearly a week in a severe situation and a coma.

The actor’s son spoke about his loss in a statement given by an Anne Heche spokesperson about the actor’s mom’s passing.

The statement read that his brother Atlas and he lost their Mom. He is left with a heavy, unutterable grief after six days of absolutely unimaginable emotional ups and downs. He hopes his mum is no longer in pain and starting to experience what he likes to think of as her eternal freedom.

Thousands of friends, family members, and admirers reached out to him over the course of those six days. He is appreciative of their assistance as well as that of his stepmother Alexi and father Coley, who continue to be his pillars of strength at this trying time. He ended saying he loves his mom, rest in peace.

The 20-year-old son of Heche’s ex-husband Coleman Laffoon is named Homer. Atlas Heche Tupper, his 13-year-old half-brother, is the son of actor James Tupper, who co-starred with Heche in the television series “Men in Trees.”

Tupper paid tribute to his ex by writing “love you forever” along with an emoji of a shattered heart on Instagram.

Heche was involved in a violent collision on August 5 in Los Angeles where a fast car hit a house in a residential area. According to her spokeswoman, she suffered a severe anoxic brain injury.

The actress frequently mentioned how proud she was of her sons.

Heche wrote a blog post on how happy it made him to see Homer join a tennis camp in the summer and develop his game.

She wrote in 2012 that they want that for their children- a belief that, via their labours, they can provide them whatever that makes them feel good about themselves. Mother Wars the positive, negative, and ugly. the upcoming. All focus is on them. And what she recognised this summer is that if one truly is going out to them, for them, they will come to welcome it.
