Betty White’s Assistant Says Star Called For Her Late Husband in Her Final Moments.

For seven decades Betty White a adored actress, died at the age of 99 on Friday just less than three weeks before her 100th birthday. White had married Allen Ludden in 1963 who hosted one of TV’s most famous game shows. It was her third marriage. He died at 63 due to stomach cancer.

White’s assistant has said the charming actress had the love of her life Allen’s name in her mind and lips before she died. White never married again since she once said in an interview in 2011 with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, “I had the love of my life. If you’ve the best, who needs the rest?”

Actress Vicki Lawrence expressed White made each production a happy place to work. She was wonderfully professional who never goofed up with her lines or not being prepared. White was also known as an animal lover.

Best known for her roles on “The Golden Girls” and “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” White was a fan favorite loved by many generations.
