Boy With Down Syndrome Goes To Store Every Week Just To See His Favorite Employee Who Looks Like Him.

Allyson Mize went grocery shopping with her Down syndrome son, Charlie, on a regular basis, but nothing astonished her until she went to Kroger with her son.

Mize walked into the store with her two-year-old son on a routine day. She sped through the aisles, grabbing everything she required before coming to a halt at the checkout stand, where something spectacular awaited her.

Erin Hoffman, an employee, was placing Mize’s groceries in bags when she approached the mom after seeing Charlie. Hoffman inquired about Mize’s son’s Down syndrome.

When Mize responded yes, Hoffman informed her that she, too, had the same disease. The staff then asked Mize if she may hold her baby, but the mom was concerned that her kid would not want to be in her arms.

Normally, Charlie never felt at ease when another individual held him in their arms, but not with Hoffman. Mize was taken aback by her son’s reaction.

Charlie looked Hoffman in the eyes, and they both grinned. The tiny child sensed he was with an individual who was similar to him.

*Update: After seeing Erin again today, we became Facebook friends and it warms my heart to see all the sweet comments…

Mize returned to the store with Charlie the next week and was astounded to see her kid reconnect with the business’s happiest employee. Hoffman ran into them again at the checkout, and the two couldn’t stop admiring one other.

Hoffman was recognized as the Kroger store’s happiest staff. She would welcome customers with a smile and do her best to assist them in any way she could. Her cheerfulness and friendliness set her apart from the other staff.

Mize made it a habit to go to the supermarket with Charlie and meet Hoffman every Tuesday after that. The mom was overjoyed to watch her kid bond with Hoffman. She mistook the staffer for her son’s best friend.

Charlie assisted his favorite staff in putting items in the bag when they met at the checkout. Hoffman would occasionally take Charlie on a trip through the aisles.

Mize once photographed Hoffman and Charlie staring into one other’s eyes and presented it to her husband. Her spouse stated the couple felt a “chromie connection” after seeing the cute photo.

Mize feels motivated and hopeful whenever she meets the staff, in addition to enjoying her son’s bond with Hoffman. Seeing Hoffman work with other people gives Mize optimism for her son’s future.

Mize was anxious about her son’s future since she had been informed that persons with Down syndrome had trouble adjusting to ordinary life. Looking at Mize, on the other hand, made her forget about her troubles.

Mize wishes for her kid to be as compassionate as Hoffman and to contribute to society like she does. The mom had no idea that a trip to the grocery store would motivate her and provide her with a new perspective on her son’s life.

When netizens discovered Charlie’s relationship with Hoffman, they couldn’t help but express their views in the comments area.

We wish Charlie and Hoffman the best of luck and pray they continue to inspire others. We also wish that the child grows up to be as sweet as his best friend.
