Chris Rock on Johnny Depp Defamation Trial: ‘Believe All Women, Except Amber Heard’

During a recent comedy show in London, Chris Rock did not mince words as he ridiculed Amber Heard.

It is reported that the comedian mentioned Heard during a portion of his May 12 show, which started off his Ego Death tour in the United Kingdom. “Believe in all women, believe in all women… except Amber Heard…” What the hell is she doing? She puked in [Johnny Depp’s] bed! “She’s great, but she’s not shitting fine,” Rock quipped to the crowd. “She crap in his bed.”

When you defecate on someone’s bed, you are automatically guilty of everything. She pooped on his bed. What the hell is going on? Wow. They went on to have a relationship. It must be great, pussy… I’ve spent time with certain insane b%tches yet goddammit.”

Heard is now through a protracted trial with her ex-husband Depp after the Pirates of the Caribbean star launched a $50 million defamation case against her. Depp confirmed Heard’s op-ed for The Washington Post in December 2018, in which she detailed her encounters with domestic abuse, ruined his cinematic profession.

Depp also claimed that Heard was the true abuser in their relationship, despite the fact that Heard has refuted the charges and counter-sued Depp for $100 million in defamation. The trial began in April and is set to end on May 27.

Chris Rock is no stranger to heated celebrity feuds. Will Smith smacked the comedian at the 94th Academy Awards on March 27 after the King Richard actor reacted angrily to a G.I. Jane 2 joke Rock uttered during the event. The joke was meant at Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s short hair, which was caused by Pinkett Smith’s alopecia, a condition that causes hair loss.

Smith returned to his seat after hitting Rock and said, ‘keep his wife’s name out of Chris’s lips!’ Smith went on to win the Academy Award for Best Actor for his work in King Richard. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences barred Smith from attending the Oscars or any of its other occasions for the following ten years as a result of the attack.

Rock was also present at Joke Fest in Los Angeles on May 3 when Dave Chappelle was attacked by an attacker just as his show was about to conclude. Security then subdued the guy, who was holding a toy pistol and a knife.

After it was determined that Chappelle had not been injured in the incident, Rock utilized the familiar scenario to inquire, “Was that Will Smith?” Chappelle responded by laughing. Isaiah Lee, the assailant, was detained and accused of criminal assault with a dangerous weapon.
