Climber Falls 70 Feet Into Crevasse, Shoots Video of Escape…This Is One Helluva Survival Story
44-year-old John All, a Geology professor at Western Kentucky University, was conducting climate research in Nepal when he accidentally slipped into a 70-foot crevasse. He survived the fall, but suffered a broken arm, six broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder and some other minor injuries. Incredibly, after six hours of climbing, he made it out of the icy crevasse on his own strength.
