Law enforcement isn’t always about enforcing the law.
Often times it’s about having compassion when someone needs it the most. Deputy Campos’s form of compassion came with buying breakfast for two little ones whose parents were having a disagreement. Rather than have the children witness mommy and daddy fighting, Deputy Campos hung out with them while they ate their breakfast.
Acts of kindness like this are displayed by law enforcement every day, so no, it isn’t just about enforcement.
