Chris and Janet are scuba divers and they really like the water. They like it so much that they decided to get married 40 feet below the surface of the Indian Ocean, just off South Ari Atoll island.
The vows were done with signs, and they were joined in the ceremony by a ring bearer, a bridesmaid and a photographer.
And since they could not talk under water, they held up signs that said “I do,” at that very crucial moment.
They removed their mouth pieces for a quick smooch to seal the deal.
You might say they took the plunge literally.
