Dying 2-Year-Old Boy Walks Mom Down the Aisle Just Days before He Dies in Her Arms

Christine Swidorsky and Sean Stevenson decided to build a family after they fallen in love with each other. Swidorsky by now had a daughter, Isabella Johns and the duo soon greeted their firstborn. Swidorsky gave birth to a lovely boy, Logan Stevenson, on October 22, 2010 and both the parents were thrilled to have one more member in their family.

But soon after Logan’s first anniversary, Swidorsky and Sean got to know that their baby had a rare disorder that caused in cancer in various cases.

Swidorsky and Sean didn’t give up and they did the whole thing possible to treat their son, resulting in him experiencing numerous remedial measures. Sadly, Logan’s medics said on July 26, 2013 that his illness had deteriorated and he had just a few weeks to survive.

Swidorsky and Sean weren’t ready to lose their 2-year-old kid. Though, they didn’t let their sorrow to take over. The duo had planned to tie the knot in July 2014, but after knowing that Logan did not have much time left, they decided pre-pone their wedding. They sought to fill their son’s ending days with happiness and letting him to join their nuptials appeared like the seamless idea.

The couple swiftly organized a close wedding ceremony and on August 3, 2013, Swidorsky walked down the aisle with Logan attired as the best man.

Swidorsky, attired as a wife-to-be sought to relish her big moment but she could only think of her dying son. The mother danced for the last time with her son while trying her best not to cry.

Logan passed away merely two days after his parents’ wedding. The little boy took his last breath in his mother’s arm on August 5, 2013.

Logan’s grandma, Debbie Stevenson, said Logan’s parents were heartbroken after losing their child. They just embraced him and wept after he took his last breath. Debbie further said that it wasn’t easy for the parents to say goodbye to their bundle of happiness.

Even after nine years of Logan’s unfortunate death, Swidorsky is yet to disremember the agony. Each year, she fears the start of August since it recaps her of the period when the medics told her that Logan didn’t have much time left.  

Swidorsky said that the utmost stunning nuptials she had forever observed was hers for the reason that of her son’s presence. She admitted that life was tough but also said Logan provided her the strong point to face every single hindrance.
