Emotional Charles is watched by concerned Princess Anne as they walk behind Queen’s coffin

Newly appointed King Charles III was evidently emotional at the Queen’s state funeral and seemed to wipe away a tear as he gets inside Westminster Abbey together with an anxious Princess Anne.

Charles was watery-eyed as he sorrowfully observed his mother’s casket taken into the church.  Princess Anne looked at her brother with a concerned look.  King Charles was shadowed by his lads the Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex, whereas his brother Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, seemed to be crying.

Charles also seen emotional through the singing of the national anthem inside the abbey and continued to be quiet during the song.  He gripped his traditional sword and seen sad as the sound of chants and observances occupied the momentous abbey.

Charles dress in the Royal Navy No 1 tailcoat with sword and he also wore full-size decorations as well as the Queen’s Service Order.

The garland which decked on the Queen’s casket comprised flowers wished by King Charles. Taken from the grounds of Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and Highgrove House, the floras and greenery were selected for their representation.
