Everyone Wanted The Same T-Shirt Which Her Son Was Wearing At School.

Like every other student, 6-year-old Blake is headed back to school. But he’s gonna be wearing a shirt that let’s everyone else know just the type of person he is.

It’s a bright orange shirt that says, in green lettering: “I will be your friend.”

His mom, Nikki, had told him before school started that, as a gift, she would make him a shirt with any kind of theme he wanted, like some of his favorites… basketball or football.

She was quite surprised when he came to her after thinking about it and said: “Will you please make me a shirt that says ‘I will be your friend’ for all the kids who need a friend to know that I am here for them?”

So Nikki made the shirt for him. Then, she took a picture of it and posted it. That post received more than 19,000 likes and many positive comments. There were even some requests for Nikki to make more shirts like it.

She owns a business that does custom orders just like the one Blake wears. So because her son’s shirt was quite a hit, Nikki created a website to sell more of the “I will be your friend” shirts.

A portion of each sale goes to the Real Life Center, a nonprofit that helps people cope with hardships. After she received a few orders for them, she told her son about it, and he responded: “Good! Now more people will have more and more friends!”

Also, if anyone would like to donate money for shirts to people who want one but cannot afford one, please PM me and I…

Nikki said her son is a very loving, giving little boy. When they got involved in a toothbrush and toothpaste drive over this past summer, Nikki took him to the store and asked him how much he wanted to spend of his own money. He looked at his mom and asked: “This is for people who don’t have any, right?” When Nikki nodded yes, Blake matter-of-factly said, “Well, all of it.”

She hopes her son will always be such a kind, giving person. At only 6 years old, he’s definitely off to a good start.

Give hope. Inspire. Change lives. Share this story.
