Family Follows Tiny Pink Coffin at Girl’s Funeral, 2:’God Did Not Want This to Happen to Maya.’

Maya Louise Chappell, who allegedly died at home in Milton Grove, Shotton Colliery, County Durham, England, was laid to rest on Friday, November 4, 2022.

The small child was flown to a hospital in serious condition following the September 28 incident. Maya died two days later, on September 30, encircled by her loved ones, as per her family.

The baby died in the intensive care section at Newcastle’s Royal Infirmary. On November 2, Rachael Walls confirmed the funeral date and place on behalf of Maya’s father, James Chappell.

James has also requested that all wear pink because it was Maya’s favorite color, and they want to honor her lovely life in color, Walls said on Facebook.

The funeral of Maya Louise Chappell will take place this Friday 4th November 2pm at Our Lady and St Joseph's Brooms…

Furthermore, on the solemn occasion, Walls urged people to line the route of tiny Maya’s horse-drawn carriage. Before the burial, James rushed to Facebook and wrote a heartfelt message for his beautiful little princess-“I love you so much Maya Louise Chappell, and so does all your family. You’ll be sitting with your grandma and our Brooklyn and all the rest so this isn’t a goodbye forever baby girl, just a goodbye for now (sic).”

The bereaved dad ended his letter with the words that he’ll see her again someday, and he’ll make up for all. Until the next time, little girl.

Well today is the day I lay you to rest baby girl and hopefully you can finally be at complete peace sorry it’s toke so…

Maya, two years old, was laid to rest at Our Blessed Lady and St. Joseph Church in Leadgate. Mourners gathered in the church courtyard as the vehicle carrying her small pink casket came to a halt.

The toddler’s coffin was carried through the streets by two horses covered in pink plumes and topped with unicorn horns. As Maya’s pink casket was hoisted and carried by four pallbearers, there was not a dry eye in the house.

Mourners honored her father’s wish by wearing pink to the heartbreaking event. As he waved goodbye to his beloved baby, James picked a pink tie for himself.

The late toddler’s pink casket was later taken into the church, where Father John Bagnall spoke briefly during the funeral. Father Bagnall stated that everybody’s life will come to an end at some point.

While death is startling and difficult to comprehend at any age, Father Bagnall described it as terrible to lose a loved one abruptly and at a very young age.

Father Bagnall said, as he told the mourners at the burial, that some individuals have a propensity to think, ‘It must be God’s will.’ Let’s be quite clear. This was not what God desired to occur to Maya.

Several melancholy songs were played throughout the funeral ceremony, including “Diamonds” by Rihanna, “Concrete Angel” by Martina McBride, and “Fly” by Celine Dion.

Father Bagnall asked relatives and friends to retain Maya’s memories alive in their hearts as they proceeded to cry for the precious girl whose life had been brutally cut short.

On November 5, the Northern Echo posted a short video on Facebook showing the flower condolences people had left for Maya. Many netizens expressed their condolences and support for the grieving family.
