Bride’s Father Halts Wedding To Pull Her Stepfather Along So They Can Walk Their Daughter Down The Aisle Together.

Ever had a Kodak moment… a special time that you can relive day after day after day? And for some, they wouldn’t give up that Kodak moment for anything.

One could almost bet that Todd Cendrosky has one of those moments. He married Brittany’s mom after she divorced from another Todd… Todd Bachman. And when things like that happens, the men might not be saying too many good things about each other.

As a matter of fact Todd and Todd did not really like each other at all. And that, of course, can cause issues within the family. Like for Brittany. The 21-year-old was planning a nice, outdoor wedding. Setting up the wedding was really no problem. The dilemma, however, was who would be taking that traditional walk with her down the aisle. Would it be Todd, her biological father, who was so close to her in her early years? Or would it be Todd, her stepdad, who had raised her himself for so many years. You see, she loved each of them very much. She was torn, and she even told her real dad about it bothering her. But in the end, Brittany asked her real dad to walk her down the aisle.

So on the day of the wedding, everything was perfect. The weather was cooperating and it was a beautiful day. And then Brittany’s real father started walking his daughter down the aisle to meet with her soon-to-be husband, Jeremy, at the very end. But suddenly, Todd Bachman stopped, and then reached across a chair on the side and grabbed Brittany’s stepfather, Todd Cendrosky, by the arm and pulled him up to walk with him and his daughter.

And as each father took an arm of the beautiful bride, there wasn’t a dry eye around. These two men who had only negative things to say about each other were at one with each other; were at peace with each other. Brittany’s dad wanted to make sure that his little girl had the best day he could possibly give her, and that meant swallowing his pride, and doing the right thing.

Said Brittany’s stepfather: “I always wanted to [walk a daughter] down the aisle… and when Todd grabbed my hand… that was the best day of my life, and I wouldn’t change that day for the world. We have become family, and the children’s needs need to come first.”

And as the wedding came to an end and the new Mr. and Mrs. slipped away from the adoring crowd, two others were walking arm in arm, talking about what a beautiful day it really was.
