Doug Hayes of Oregon is resolved to give his grandkids an unique present every Christmas. However, he may have topped himself this year by purchasing a present that has gone viral for all the correct purposes.
Nobody can claim Doug isn’t the MVP of Christmas gifts for grandkids this year.
The grandpa of ten chose to handle things a bit differently by presenting his grandchildren with a bright yellow school bus.
Is it a school bus? I hear you inquire. Yes, a bus so he can drive them all to school every day and spend quality grandchild-grandfather time with them.
Luckily, a video of his grandkids opening the gift was shared on social media, allowing all to join in the celebration.

He felt, gee whiz, maybe there’s some way he can give them a memory that will endure throughout their lives, Doug explained.
According to accounts, his grandkids attend a tiny Christian primary school with no school buses. The bus, dubbed “Grandfather Express,” will operate all year.
Doug, who appears to be a part-time school bus driver, designed the concept himself, and we believe it’s amazing! Who better than your granddad to drive you to and from school?
