Guy has neighbors upset after he paints his whole house hot pink

The houses that line Mountain View’s street appear to be ordinary dwellings. Pflugerville, Texas, residents are accustomed to seeing white, beige, and grey houses…

That is, until Emilio Rodriguez arrived in the area.

Emilio was paralysed from the waist down after surviving a tragic car accident when he was four years old. He spent his adolescence having a succession of operations. He is now wheelchair-bound.

Emilio has always been drawn to the colour pink, which makes him happy. He discovered the hue to be peaceful and mood-boosting while coping with his medical challenges.

Emilio’s family and fiancée asked him not to paint his dream home in Pflugerville in his favourite hue when he acquired it in 2018. Emilio, on the other hand, went with his instincts.

Emilio discovered the exact shade of Pepto-Bismol-pink paint and coated his entire house in it, motivated by the brilliant hues seen in his tattoos. According to the Statesman, he was striving for a “wet slime” effect.

Emilio intends to install a pink-tiled driveway and pink lamps in the yard, as well as paint his wheelchair pink.

Many of his neighbours, though, are not thrilled with the pink house; it stands out like a sore thumb. Emilio claims he has received threats and derogatory remarks since his home has become popular on social media.

Emilio Rodriguez bought his house in November and painted it pink.He says some people in the neighborhood aren't exactly thrilled about the color scheme. Esmi Careaga on FOX 7 has the story. FULL STORY: bit.ly/2UjKccl
