Harry and Meghan ‘plan return to Frogmore Cottage with their children’

According to rumours, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle intend to return to Frogmore Cottage when they visit the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee festivities in June.

The Grade II listed mansion is presently occupied by Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank, and their son August on the Frogmore Estate in Windsor.

Even after residing in a magnificent £11 million house in Los Angeles, it was revealed in February that the Duke of Sussex had extended his lease on the cottage.

As per the Scottish Sun, the royal couple will return to Frogmore Cottage when they visit the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee next month.

It is reported that increased security precautions are already in place in preparation for Harry and Meghan showing up with their two kids, Archie and Lilibet.

During their vacation, Princess Eugenie will most likely offer up the visitor’s bedrooms at Frogmore Cottage to welcome the family of four.

The Sussexes have just stated that they will attend the Queen’s four-day Platinum Jubilee celebrations, however it is unknown which ceremonies they will attend.

Non-working members of the Royal Family, on the other hand, will not stand on the Buckingham Palace balcony for Trooping the Colour on June 2. This excludes Harry and Meghan, as well as many of the Queen’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

‘Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are pleased and privileged to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June with their kids,’ said a representative for the Sussexes.

In February, it was announced that Prince Harry had extended his lease on Frogmore Cottage and will continue to deputize for the Queen even after living overseas.

The Duke of Sussex is able to continue serving as one of his grandmother’s four Counsellors of State since his former Windsor address qualifies him as being domiciled in Britain.

He and the Duchess of Sussex have opted to continue the lease on the Windsor Castle home, which is set to expire on March 31.

The Sussexes repaid the £2.4 million in Windsor house repairs, including rent until March 2022.

Because of his position as one of the Queen’s four Counsellors of State, Harry’s UK living arrangements have become a constitutional issue.

The Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of Sussex, and the Duke of York, as the four adults next in line to the throne, can take on some of the Queen’s obligations if she is briefly incapacitated.
