“I Know You May Not Believe Me Right Now, But…”

Story by Kelcey

I know you may not believe me right now, but… She’ll eventually sleep through the night, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

He’ll get the hang of potty training, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

She’ll be able to sit still (at least for a little while), even though it doesn’t feel like it.

He’ll run out of energy, maybe, (hopefully?) even if it doesn’t feel like it.

She’ll learn to use her words instead of throwing a fit, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

He’ll get the hang of sharing, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

You’ll stop carrying and nursing babies and have your body back to yourself (well, kinda), even if it doesn’t feel like it.

You’ll have a daily schedule that doesn’t revolve around naps, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

You’ll get to actually eat all of your snack, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

You’ll stop getting booty calls (you know, the call to wipe a booty after a #2), even if it doesn’t feel like it.

And, one day, you’ll look back on this time with fondness…even if it doesn’t feel like it.
