‘I’m 19 and my man is 42 – trolls call our relationship disgusting but it’s true love’

An internet troll who called a woman’s relationship with her partner, who is 23 years her older, repulsive has been responded to.

One pair, said to be from the UK, had more than 20 years of marriage together, proving the adage that true love knows no age.

Courtney Louise McVay, 19, made the choice to post a video of her and her 42-year-old boyfriend online despite the fact that she was aware of the negative feedback they would receive from others.

It is acceptable as long as both parties are of legal age and neither is, for example, a 30-year-old with a 15-year-old.

You can’t pick who you love; sentiments just happen to people.

Courtney responded angrily to trolls who termed her relationship with her significant other “disgusting,” saying she had never anticipated it.

She didn’t anticipate that she was going to be with a 42-year-old when she was turning nearly 20, the woman said. It just happens by itself.

It is horrible when individuals disparage other women, though.  People then said, “Daddy issues,” but it is untrue.

She just loves him. Basically, she believes that once you reach the legal age, age is only a number.

Courtney shared a video of the couple together with the caption: “Idc [I don’t care] if I get hatred [heart emoji] Love him more than life.”

The video has received more than a staggering 1.6 million views and has inspired numerous individuals to share their opinions.

Someone questioned: “What would a 42-year-old want with a 19-year-old? It simply seems wrong.”

Another calculated and discovered: “He was 23 when you were born.”

A third person commented, “I mean, when they’re old enough to be your Dad, something is a miss.”

Nevertheless, despite the criticism, Courtney’s age difference relationship received a great deal of encouragement from people who cautioned her not to pay attention to trolls.

Age is just a number, right? if you’re content and have what you want in life. That’s the only thing that counts,” a TikTok user commented.

Another encouraging response read, “I always had an issue w [with] age differences till I found my partner. It’s the happiest healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in pleased ur [your] happy.”
