‘I’m Loved. I’m Worthy.’: 2-Yr-Old Using Positive Affirmations To Calm Down Will Melt Your Heart.

Parenthood is a huge responsibility. It’s like a roller coaster with mixed emotions like happiness, sadness, worries, excitement and many more. Parenting is a wonderful adventure.

Teaching a child to be calm in a difficult situation is hard. However, Shelbee Haderer of McCloud, Oklahoma has an amazing way to help her 2 year old Brilee calm herself.

The little girl by accident smashed her fingers in a door. She definitely must be in pain but Shelbee sensibly tells her daughter who is in tears to take deep breaths. As Birlee calms down, Shelbee tells her to repeat some cute reminders: “I’m okay. I’m strong. I’m beautiful. I’m loved. I’m worthy.”

The result is truly magical. After repeating those self love and acceptance expressions she was more calmer and composed. Her charming voice saying “thank you mom” will make you go awww.

Watch the video which was captured after Brilee got her fingers hurt. Let’s all try to make our kids learn these positive, adorable reminders.
