Proud mother alert! Jennifer Lopez greeted one of her children on stage when she performed in Los Angeles on Thursday. The mom of two told followers how precious the event was since, despite J.Lo’s constant requests, Emme seldom likes to sing along with her. Jennifer used they/them pronouns to introduce the 14-year-old before commencing their duet.
From 2004 through 2014, Marc Anthony and Jennifer were married. During that time, Emme Maribel Muniz and Maximilian David Muniz were born.
Following their divorce, the couple has co-parent their children, but the now 14-year-olds have remained mainly out of the limelight – until now, that is. Thursday, Jen drew Emme onto the platform with her, to the joy of the audience.
As she welcomed Emme to the stage, Jen explained that the musical apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Jen said of the teen she begged them to sing with her all the time, but they won’t, so this is a really special occasion, as they’re very, very busy, booked, and costly. When they come out, they cost her.
Jen continued, they’re worth every penny as they’re her all-time favourite duet partner.

This is the pair’s second appearance on stage together in recent history. They also sang together at a Super Bowl performance in 2020.
The 14-year-old wore a short hairdo hidden behind a black cap and an enormous bright pink shirt. Emme donned identical pink knee highs, while J.Lo looked stunning in a luxurious gown adorned with flowing feathers and loads of sparkle.

J.Lo is back on the road after the release of her most recent film, Marry Me, and her documentary, Halftime, is now available on Netflix. Things will only get better for the music diva, who is slated to marry Ben Affleck later this year.
