John Travolta shares moving tribute for Kirstie Alley – “we will see each other again”

Kirstie Alley, John Travolta’s late co-star and close friend, is being remembered.

True and Lillie Parker, the actress’ daughters, confirmed their mom died on Monday after a lonely cancer battle. She was 71 years old. Travolta, who co-starred with Alley in the three “Look Who’s Talking” films and was a longtime friend of hers, was among the first to pay tribute to her on social media. Both of them were Scientologists.

Kirstie was one of the most special relationships he has ever had, he said on Instagram immediately after learning of her passing. He expressed that he adores Kirstie and is sure they’ll see each other again.

Alley rose to prominence as Rebecca Howe on “Cheers,” for which she received an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and other nominations. She also had her own reality program, “Kirstie Alley’s Big Life,” and appeared on “Dancing with the Stars,” “Celebrity Big Brother,” and Season 7 of “The Masked Singer.”

She appears in “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan,” “Summer School,” the 1995 version of “Village of the Damned,” “Drop Dead Gorgeous,” and “For Richer or Poorer” in addition to the “Look Who’s Talking” films.
