Johnny Depp Is Happy To Play Captain Jack Sparrow At Kids’ Parties

There are few performers in the world who are as renowned and regarded as Johnny Depp. Johnny has dazzled us with his spectacular performances and compelling character interpretations for almost 40 years.

However, as a result of recent legal squabbles with his ex-wife Amber Heard, Depp has all but vanished from the public eye. He has stated that he misses portraying Jack Sparrow so much that he would gladly perform at a kids birthday party.

Johnny Depp has established himself as one of the world’s most accomplished and sought-after performers during the last 35 years. It’s easy to see why, given his breathtaking performances in flicks like Edward Scissorhands and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Yet, of all the roles Depp has methodically created over the years, Captain Jack Sparrow from The Pirates of the Caribbean is without a doubt his most renowned.

Tragically, Johnny has been prevented from portraying his legendary character on film owing to his escalating legal problems. Johnny was suing the Sun for libel after one of their articles referred to him as a “wife-beater.” Johnny lost the case in court and was then refused the right to appeal.

Soon later, the dominoes began to fall. Johnny was promptly sacked from the Fantastic Beats Harry Potter prequel series, and he was denied the role of Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean. Recently, Johnny’s latest film, Minamata, was likewise prevented from being released in the United States.

Until now, the United States is the only country/territory where the film has not been released in theaters. Because of Johnny’s continuous legal struggles, Minamata director Andrew Lewis has publicly accused MGM of attempting to destroy the movie.

All of this has prompted Johnny to blame Hollywood for shunning him and purposefully undermining his career. The Oscar nominee actor expressed all of this and more on Instagram. Despite Hollywood’s efforts to keep him at bay, Johnny claims that Jack Sparrow is still with him everywhere he goes.

Depp stated at the San Sebastian Film Festival that the magic of Captain Jack Sparrow for him is that he can practically travel with Captain Jack in a box and when the chance arises, he is able to travel and see individuals and places where the smiles and laughter, as well as the things that are crucial, the most significant matters in the world, are at stake.

Johnny has played Jack Sparrow in a number of hospitals throughout the world over the years. Johnny has stated on several events that it is a pure thrill to see the children’ faces light up when they see his renowned persona come to life. During an interview on The Graham Norton Show, he revealed how he was motivated to visit kids in hospitals when his own daughter Lily-Rose was hospitalized with severe E. E. coli illness in 2007. Depp described it as the “darkest period of his life.”

Johnny says he’s more ready than ever to reprise his role as Jack Sparrow – in any manner he can. “So I still go with Captain Jack, and whenever I get the opportunity, I will go to these areas,” Depp explained. “I’ll go to someone’s house – man, at this point, I’ll perform at your kid’s birthday party!”

Let’s assume Johnny was probably joking, but envision if Jack Sparrow turned up to help you celebrate your birthday! It would definitely be an unbelievable moment. Although Johnny is now on the sidelines, he still has legions of admirers who are ready to see him back in front of the camera.

There are now two petitions on Change.org urging Johnny to return to his roles as Grindelwald and Jack Sparrow. The former has approximately 300,000 signatures, while the latter has well over 500,000 names to date.

What are your thoughts: do you wish to see Johnny return as Jack Sparrow, or do you believe his time has passed? Please leave a comment to let us know.
