Johnny Depp might WAIVE $8,000,000 damages claim against Amber.

Johnny Depp’s lawyers indicated that the Hollywood star may not accept his $10.4 million settlement from ex-wife Amber Heard, stressing that he is content with his “complete success” in clearing his reputation.

Ben Chew, one of the star’s attorneys replied when questioned about Heard’s worry of being left poor that obviously, they can’t reveal attorney-client correspondence, but as Mr. Depp stated this was never about money for Mr. Depp.

This was about rebuilding his name and he’s done that, Chew said cautiously.

Chew also discounted the possibility of the actress changing the judgment in a separate live interview on Wednesday.

They are extremely certain that no mistakes exist that would warrant any type of successful appeal, he added.

Individual lawyer Camille Vasquez, the superstar legal counselor who turned into a big name herself and was for the current week elevated to an accomplice in her law office, referred to it as “frustrating” that Heard’s group called the triumph a blow for ladies’ privileges and the #MeToo development.

Instead, she claimed, the actress was dragged down by them “turning her comments against her.”

She expressed the key to winning was concentrating on the evidence and facts, as well as Johnny’s opportunity to speak the truth for the first time, adding that it had been “six years in the making.”

Every inquiry was related to anything she had mentioned earlier.

And she believes the jury got to see, the world got to see, and Miss Heard got to hear about the couple’s poisonous relationship.

She explained, they feel that the proof speaks for itself.  Based on those circumstances, the jury reached a unanimous conclusion.

She added that they urge any victims to come forward, domestic abuse has no gender, referring to proof shown that Depp had also been assaulted.
Both denied that social media had improperly influenced the seven Virginia jurors. Chew also said that it was “totally ridiculous and false” to assume that Depp’s enormous internet support was part of a planned effort.

When asked directly if the actor’s crew had helped promote or perhaps pay for the support, Vasquez stated such assertions were “absolutely incorrect.”
Nonetheless, Depp won over fans and, eventually, the jurors since of his “transparency” in his broken marriage, according to Chew.

Johnny took responsibility for his problems. He was open and honest about his booze and drug problems. He was open about certain awful things he wrote, the lawyer stated.

And believes that was a strong difference to Ms. Heard, who didn’t take responsibility for anything.

According to Vasquez, Depp felt “an incredible feeling of relief” after winning.

He was talking with another buddy of theirs, a common buddy of Johnny’s and theirs, and he remarked, he hadn’t seen Johnny smile like that in six years.

Chew further stated that the actor was “overjoyed” with the choice. He stated, the weight of the world has been lifted from his shoulders.  He’s gotten his life back, repeating the star’s prior remarks.

Meanwhile, Vasquez noted her own surprise popularity as a result of the high-profile trial.

She expressed it’s been odd, and to be honest, a little overwhelming. But if she can inspire young women to go to law school, study, and work hard, then it was all worth it, she remarked.

Depp won his defamation claim after seven Fairfax jurors agreed that a Washington Post op-ed Heard wrote about becoming a “public figure symbolising domestic abuse” tarnished his character and harmed his profession.

To all of my most treasured, loyal and unwavering supporters. We’ve been everywhere together, we have seen everything together. We have walked the same road together. We did the right thing together, all because you cared. And now, we will all move forward together. You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you. My love & respect, JD

The actor, who was too busy grooving with guitar icon Jeff Beck to hear he had won his case, remarked soon after the win that being allowed to tell his truth had left him “at peace.”

He declared at that moment that wrong, extremely severe, and criminal claims were levelled against him. Six years later, the jury restored his life. He is very touched.

Heard’s side, on the other hand, had previously indicated displeasure with the lawyers’ plotted media blitz this week, even before what they said was broadcast.

“It is both unpleasant and unethical that Johnny Depp’s legal team has decided to celebrate setting back decades of how women may be handled in the courtroom,” Heard’s representative stated in a statement.

Amber Heard's attorney Elaine Bredehoft on verdict and what's next

Elaine Bredehoft, Heard’s attorney, had previously given interviews to several of the same publications the morning following the defeat, slamming it on Depp’s team’s effort to “dehumanise Amber and bury the facts.”

Chew stated on Wednesday that his opponent’s charges were “extremely sad to hear.”

“The proof that should have come in came in, and the court was quite fair to all parties,” he claimed.

Heard’s team also chastised her ex-husband for coming to TikTok and bragging about the overwhelming support he has garnered.

A spokeswoman for Heard stated in a statement while Johnny Depp claims to be ‘moving ahead,’ women’s rights are regressing. The verdict’s conclusion to domestic abuse victims is to be scared to stand up and speak out.
The Washington Post has since included a comprehensive editor’s note to Heard’s op-ed explaining why it was deemed defamatory.
