Johnny Depp looks to have a few eccentricities to keep him rational in court as he faces ex-wife Amber Heard in his $100 million defamation trial.
On the tenth day of his trial, Depp arrived in his black SUV, playing Bob Marley’s ‘Exodus,’ and was met by loving admirers holding ‘Justice for Johnny’ placards and even bringing pet alpacas.
As he drove up to court earlier this week, Depp showed a fortunate $2 cash he carried in a small bag.
In the courtroom, the 58-year-old actor has been observed scribbling with a purple pen between testimonies and keeping a stock of jelly beans and mints available.
This morning, he clutched a notepad with the words ‘Built To Last’ and a design of a green figure with a crown on its head.
A huge silver tumbler loaded with what appears to be black coffee is always in front of him.
Throughout his dramatic four-day testimony, he carried that tumbler to the stand every day.
The former flames are feuding over an op-ed Heard wrote for the Washington Post in December 2018 in which she declared herself a survivor of domestic violence. The post did not identify Depp, however the veteran actor filed a $50 million lawsuit, saying he was fired from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise due to the ‘obvious insinuation’ that he was the abuser.

Heard has countersued for $100 million, alleging that a bitter Depp has mounted a years-long smear campaign against her, employing media partners and online trolls to silence her and damage her acting profession.
