Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman’s doting husband, quits ‘The Voice’ to be with his family over concerns about Nicole Kidman’s aging mother.

Keith Urban has chosen to step down from his role as a judge on “The Voice Australia” in order to spend more time with Nicole Kidman and their family. The singer stated that he enjoyed his time as a mentor on “The Voice Australia,” along with fellow judges Jessica Mauboy, Guy Sebastian, and Rita Ora, however that he will not return for the following season.

For the time being, the superstar has chosen to take a step back in order to concentrate on other tasks on his plate. Keith spoke about his many projects, including postponing the Australian portion of his tour until December 2020, working on a new record for a 2023 release, and spending Christmas with loved ones.

The actor and Nicole have indicated that they want to take their kids to see grandparents and relatives during the holidays. His mum just turned 80 and Nic’s mom, who knows how many Christmases we have with anyone ever but especially with their mums, he truly treasures that opportunity to spend Christmas with them and their family in Australia, he admitted.

Keith’s most recent professional announcement, on the other hand, does not necessarily suggest that he is done with the singing competition show. He departed “The Voice Australia” after season one, as many individuals know. Seasons 10 and 11 saw the reappearance of the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” vocalist. He does not think of it as the end of a chapter since he loves performing the program, he explained. He feels extremely connected to everyone on the set, and hopes the door stays open as he would return in a heartbeat.

Having the kids in there is fantastic, however having the extended family there is even better since they don’t have any relatives in Nashville, so having all of the cousins and aunts and uncles and everyone is simply wonderful, Keith stated. Keith has had to make up for his tour being canceled due to the pandemic, so it’s been a frantic time for the pair.

The country singer performed in Nashville, Tennessee on October 8 as part of his “The Speed of Now” global tour. Keith was accompanied behind the scenes by his wife after paying a poignant tribute to the late Loretta Lynn. Following Keith’s revelation that he will leave The Voice Australia before season 12 to concentrate on his family and music, she posted the beautiful private moment in a candid Instagram snap. “On tour backstage in Nashville, Tennessee,” Nicole captioned the Instagram shot.

His North American leg will end on November 4th, and his Australian leg will start the following month. It’s simply been a bang of a year, he continued. This year already seems like two years rolled into one, perhaps because of how much they’ve been travelling and the contrast of a year-and-a-half of extremely sluggish inactive touring followed by it all being wide open. Similarly, Keith is making plans for the rest of the year with Nicole and their children, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
