Letter Found Attached To A Balloon Caused A Stir On Social Media.

In December of 2016, Stewart McColl, of Dunfermline, Scotland, was taking a walk near a field when he spotted something. It was a blue balloon that had apparently drifted into the field from, well, who knows where.

When Stewart picked up the balloon, he was preparing to throw it away… when he discovered something attached to it. It was a note. When he opened that note up, this is what he read:

“Hi dad, just writing a letter to tell you I’m missing you and tell you news! “I’m sure you know I’m in foster cause mom is sick and my ear is blocked from Monday. What tomorrow we’re leaving. “I really miss school and you. I know you’re up in heaven but are you safe? Oh ya before I go here’s my dream and xmas list.

“My dream is for you my daddy to put a note under my pillow that you wrote. “Xmas list: boots/studs, Astros, rebounder net, new Premier League ball, Real Madrid jersey and shorts and Rubik’s Cube. Bye daddy. Love you.”

Stewart was so touched by the note that he couldn’t stop thinking about it. He wanted to find the boy who wrote it and perhaps fulfill many of those Christmas wishes. So he posted the letter online in hopes of finding the boy. Unfortunately, to our knowledge, the note writer was never found. We can only hope that someday he will be, and some of his wishes can come true.

Sharing this wouldn’t cost you anything but might help someone.
