Meet The Dog Who Survived A Blizzard And A Wildfire To Reunite With Its Owner.

The bond between the owner and pet is special- they our are partner who is always there no matter what ups and downs life brings. Here when the owner lost all hopes of being with his dog back as a family life gave a wonderful surprise.

During summer, Ricardo Rodriquez along with his dog Russ went for a camping trip near Lake Tahoe. All went well suddenly after sometime Russ got afraid and ran away into the wilderness. Russ didn’t come back to the spot and Rodriquez was unable to locate him.

Shortly afterwards, the Caldor Fire spread brutally throughout the region and months later followed by snowstorm. Due to these alarming situations, Rodriquez believed he would never get to meet Russ.

After the snowstorm, Wendy Jones who operates animal organisation TLC 4 Furry Friends and Tahoe Paws was alerted to a dog in need of rescue. She sent two volunteers Elsa and Leona in the freezing temperature to look out for the dog (Russ). From a distance they spotted him motionless until he lifted his head. The two volunteers never assumed it was going to be a recovery and not a rescue one.

After the rescue the task was to find the owner. Fortunately Russ had a microchip so animal service officers were able to unite Russ and Rodriquez. Rodriquez was in a state of doubt until he met Russ for himself since after being apart for 4 months finally they were reunited.
