According to the sheriff, Casey White was accused with two counts of capital killing in September 2020 for the assault of 58-year-old Connie Ridgeway. If find guilty, he could face the death penalty.  He was previously serving a 75-year punishment for a 2015 offence spree that involved home raid, car theft and a police chase.

In the course of pre-sentence reporting in 2015, he made threats against his ex-girlfriend and her sister, threatening that if he ever got out of the jail, he would murder them and that he sought cops to murder him. Authorities have spoken to Casey White’s possible targets and have taken suitable defensive plans.

The Sheriff said that Casey White earlier premeditated an emission from the Lauderdale County Detention Center in the fall of 2020, but experts let down the conspiracy before he could execute it. When the system got word of the outline, they found a home-produced knife in his custody and got to know that he was preparing to take a hostage. Casey White was then moved to a state jail, where he continued up until February 2022, when he resumed to the Lauderdale County facility for court attendances related to the assassination charge.

Detectives have since realised that Casey White and Vicky White had an unusual connection and were collaborating after he was moved from the county prison to state custody.

Singleton said on Wednesday they know that they retained connection while he was in the department of corrections up to and as well as until he was resumed this year in Feb. 25.

Singleton established on Wednesday that Vicky White goes to see Casey White over the period of 2 years while he was in state corrections custody. He further said that investigators are enduring to look into how many occasions she visited and if there were any phone calls and any likely records of those phone calls between the two.

According to the information released by U.S. Marshals Service, the duo should be measured precarious and may be equipped with an AR-15 rifle, pistols and a shotgun and may be driving a 2007 orange or copper Ford Edge with slight damage to the left back bumper. They further added that Casey White is 6 feet, 9 inches tall.

The U.S. Marshals Service is proposing up to $10,000 prize for info leading to Casey White’s detention and a $5,000 prize for info leading to Vicky White. A warrant was given out for Vicky White accusing her with aiding escape.

According to the sheriff as of Wednesday morning, investigators don’t have any clue where they might be. He said that they were making some decent development on that and added that they may be delayed now that some of that info has gotten out but said that they are still functioning 24×7 to find them and try to get them back in detention.

Singleton has defined Vicky White, a 17-year old hand of the sheriff’s office, as an ideal member of staff. He said she had been speaking about retiring and turned in her official procedure last Thursday. According to the sheriff, the day she and Casey White went disappeared was set to be her last day on the employment.

Singleton said on Wednesday that his message to Vicky would be that she has been in this profession for 17 years and have seen how this situation play out and know how it ends every time. He suggested Vicky to go ahead and end it now and surrender herself and help them to get Casey White back behind bars.
