Missing family of four, including 8-month-old baby, kidnapped from their business have been found dead

In rural California, a family of four, along with an 8-month-old baby girl, was discovered dead.

Aroohi Dheri, 8 months, her mom, Jasleen Kaur, 27, her dad, Jasdeep Singh, 36, and uncle, Amandeep Singh, 39, were taken at their Merced shop about 1 p.m. on Monday, October 3.

A farmworker discovered their bodies, according to authorities. The terrible find was reported to police at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The suspect, Jesus Manuel Salgada, was arrested on Tuesday, but no charges were filed.

Their greatest concerns have been verified, said Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke at a press conference Wednesday evening.

There are no words to explain his rage and the senselessness of this act, he said. As he already stated, this individual has a particular spot in hell.

The remains were discovered quite close together, according to the sheriff. He also spoke about the tragedy’s horror. He is simply enraged on the inside because this was entirely, absolutely meaningless, he remarked. They’ve lost an entire family, and for what? They’re not sure yet.

The suspect, a 48-year-old man, was apprehended after using the victims’ ATM card. Officials said he attempted suicide shortly before being apprehended.

Officials said they are building a case against the suspect. However, the evidence appears to be abundant. They released video evidence of the kidnapping before the victims’ bodies were recovered on Wednesday. It depicts a guy wearing a medical mask dragging two mature men away, their hands zip-tied behind their backs. The abductor then returns to fetch the mother and 8-month-old child.

The reason for the abduction is unknown.
