“This afternoon I took my 4 year old Caden to Hy-Vee to get a few groceries. On the way out I bought some carnations for him to give out as people were exiting. When we were done a store manager, Jamie Stephens, approached us and asked if we would like to hand out some more. Of course we accepted because my boys love doing this and it was so sweet and unexpected to get more to give away. We even had a couple of our recipients give a dollar to buy more.
As we were leaving Caden told me that his “heart was happy”. Hopefully we made a few other people’s hearts happy! Thank you again Jamie!”
