A 5-year-old girl in kindergarten lost her dad last year in a military training exercise. Earlier this year, the little girl, Cayleigh Hinton, was escorted to a daddy-daughter dance by an Illinois Army National Guard soldier.
First Sgt. Joseph Bierbrodt was in full dress uniform when he took young Cayleigh to the special event, and they got there with a big police and army vehicle escort.
And after they arrived, the two shared a very special slow dance together.
