If you had a disabled child, what things would you let him do? Here’s a story that should tell you how there should literally be no limits to what any child, or anyone, be allowed to do. The Aldrich brothers, six year old Lucas and eight year old Noah, are the best of friends. It just so happens that Lucas has a genetic condition that means he is unable to walk, talk, or even eat, by himself.
When the Aldrich family learned of Lucas’ condition, they resolved to give Lucas the happiest life he can possibly have. With this in mind, they’ve brought him camping, kayaking, off to Disneyworld, etc. As you can see, the Aldrich family is a little more active than the average family, and Noah is no different in this regard.
