Police Officer Mom Who Was Shot Sitting In Patrol Car Before Christmas Has Died – Rest In Peace.

Baltimore City Police Officer Keona Holley, 39, was in her patrol car on Pennington Avenue in Curtis Bay early hours of December 16 when she was shot several times.

She was immediately taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. However her health kept worsening so her family, with doctors consultation, decided to take the most painful and toughest decision.

Holley, mother of 4 was removed from life support. She had been on it for a week at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

The suspects Elliot Knox, 31, and Travon Shaw, 32, was charged with murder of Holley and also Justin Johnson, 38, who was shot and killed soon after Holley was shot. The reason behind this crime is unknown and police are still investigating.

As soon as Officer Holley’s death news spread, many people, the community offered condolences to the officer’s family. She was known as the “Mom from the West Side” who made an impact on residents and colleagues alike.

It is definitely an unbearable loss for Holley’s four children. May they get the courage to face the pain and move ahead in life by remembering their wonderful mom with a smile on their face.
