Prince Harry Celebrates His Birthday Amidst Heartache In The Royal Family

Apart from the reality that he and his wife, Meghan Markle, left the royal family in 2020, Prince Harry is best known as the Duke of Sussex. Harry is the youngest son of King Charles III and Princess Diana, who died in 1997. Prince William is his older brother.

With Queen Elizabeth II’s death on September 8, 2022, numerous royal family members came to be together at this terrible period. Along with this came various new modifications in the royal line of succession, as well as new titles for several members of the royal family.

Nevertheless, Harry has been living a life apart from the family for quite some time, since he and Meghan are raising their 2 kids, Archie and Lilibet, in California, USA. Despite having stood down from their jobs as senior royals the previous year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made the decision to begin their new life together in 2021.

Lilibet was born that summer and named after both her late great-grandmother and Harry’s late mother. Lilibet’s birth thrust the pair back into the spotlight after a few months of silence following their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.

“The Me You Can’t See,” Harry’s TV program alongside Winfrey, will also air in 2021. He later got his own book contract, with his first official memoir due out in the autumn of 2022. Throughout it all, the Duke of Sussex has been committed to breaking down mental health stigmas and offering services to assist as many individuals as possible.

Harry had another cause to rejoice on September 15, 2022: he turned 38.

Since leaving the royal family, Harry and Meghan have avoided social media, preferring issuing formal announcements through their charity, Archewell. This implies that Meghan’s last public celebration of Harry’s birthday was his 35th.

Markle posted a heartfelt greeting to her husband in an Instagram post uploaded to the couple’s previous royal account, along with a touching montage of nine photographs of the prince throughout his childhood. The post stated “Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day. You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you ❤️Happiest birthday!”

The first photo in the montage featured the late Princess Diana cradling Harry as a newborn. However, the last shot piqued the interest of many royal fans since it included a previously unseen photograph of Archie during his Christening, cradled by his mom.

Although the couple is no longer actively using their royal account, it’s still common for other royals to share birthday wishes through their channels, so it’s no surprise that Harry received greetings from his family, including his brother Prince William and Kate Middleton, his father King Charles III and Camilla, Queen consort, and his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

Despite keeping a quiet profile after leaving the royal family, Harry and Meghan have been busy. Harry is preoccupied with his much-anticipated memoir. The novel, co-written with Pulitzer Prize-winning ghostwriter J. R. Moehringer, is set to be published in late 2022.

The memoir is characterized as follows in the Penguin Random House announcement: From childhood to the present day, Prince Harry will provide a genuine and fascinating personal picture, one that tells readers that behind what they think they understand lies an outstanding, brave, and encouraging human story.

In the press announcement, Harry stated that he is writing the book not as the prince he was born, but as the man he has become. He stated his belief that by sharing his experience “the highs and lows, the blunders, and the lessons gained” he will illustrate that no matter where one comes from, one has more in common than one believes.

Harry is also committed to charitable work and enabling people to talk about their mental health problems. With Archewell, Harry and Meghan are concentrating on non-profit work and innovative media enterprises. “The Me You Can’t See,” Harry’s show, is also about mental health.

In September, Harry and Meghan visited the United Kingdom for charity work and, like the rest of the world, were devastated by the news of the queen’s death. During this trying period, Harry moved to Scotland to be with his family. Despite the fact that there is a lot of sadness in the royal family right now, there is also a lot of excitement because many members have been reunited.

We’d like to wish Harry a very happy and blessed birthday!
