Prince William Is Chastised For His Careless Handling Of Kate, Whilst Prince Harry Is Lauded.

On social media, Prince William has been chastised for his treatment of Kate Middleton during their royal walkabout with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Saturday.

The “Fab Four” reunited outside Windsor Castle over the weekend, surprising and delighting royal admirers.

Family members met visitors and appreciated floral tributes and cards left to remember Queen Elizabeth II, who passed on Thursday at the age of 96.

When the two couples parted ways and got into the same car, social media fans were taken aback by the brothers’ polar opposite behavior.

As they prepared to leave, Harry, 37, bravely opened the door for his 41-year-old wife, who thanked him.

The Duke of Sussex then closed the door behind the “Suits” alum before stepping around to the opposite side of the car to climb inside.

The chivalrous act of the former military pilot contrasted sharply with that of his 40-year-old brother, who did not care to open the car door for Middleton, also 40.

“#PrinceHarry always protecting his precious better half #MeghanMarkle ❤️ A prince through and through 🤴🏻,” one Twitter user gushed.

Another noted, “I love how Harry opened the door for his wife and made sure she was inside the car before getting in the car himself. A true gentleman 🥰♥️”.

Prince Harry opening & closing the door for his wife, Princess Diana would be proud,” a third person tweeted.

Royal observers also chastised William for the large space between him and Middleton as they first exited the car, comparing their separation to Harry and Markle’s hand-holding.

“Where in hell is #Catherine?” one social media user wrote. “A picture speaks a thousand words! Such distance between her and her husband. Such a big gap! Did #Kate walk before her husband #PrinceWilliam? Awkward!”

The foursome’s surprising presence was the first time the two spouses had all been pictured together in public since a Commonwealth Day service on March 9, 2020.

According to royal writer Omid Scobie, William offered the invitation to his estranged brother and sister-in-law at the “eleventh hour.”

Scobie goes on to say that the offer was “without a question, a pivotal point in the history of the two brothers’ friendship.”
