Recent ‘American Idol’ finalist has died at the age of 23; in his final words, he praises God.

Willie Spence, the runner-up in the 2021 season of American Idol, died on Tuesday after being involved in a car collision.

Spence was just 23 years old when he died, according to devastating stories from his hometown of Douglas, Georgia.

He was an exceptional talent and a beacon of hope for millions throughout the world.  He will be missed, states the message.

It is stated that one of the singer’s family verified his death.

According to the same family member, Spence slammed into a lorry parked on the side of the road as he was leaving Atlanta.

They are saddened by the demise of their favorite American Idol family member, Willie Spence, said the description on an Instagram video of Spence’s audition.

He was a wonderful artist who brightened every place he visited and will be greatly missed. They extend their sympathies to his family.

Spence rose to prominence a few years ago as a result of his cheery demeanor and incredible voice. In 2017, a video showing him singing Rihanna’s “Diamonds” in a school classroom became viral, garnering over 15 million views on YouTube.

The overwhelming popularity of the aforementioned video earned him a spot on Steve Harvey’s daytime talk program. Spence then went on to sing the same song in an audition for “American Idol” in 2021.

His audition was well received. Spence later stated, he just wanted his voice to reach the globe and share his talent. One day, he aspires to win a Grammy. That’s where he wants to be in five years.

Obviously, social media has exploded with condolences for the late Willie, who appeared to be on his way to a successful career in music.

Spence shared a video of himself singing on Instagram only hours before he died.

“You are my hiding place. You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance. Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in you. I will trust in you. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong in the strength of the Lord,’” he sang.
