Sandra has a son Louis, 11, who she adopted in 2010 when he was three-and-half-months old and in 2015, an 8 year-old daughter Laila, who she adopted from a Louisiana foster home when the child was just three.

Jada Pinkett Smith and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris agreed to Sandra’s confession. Jada’s daughter Willow Smith then interrupted in the chat and said that it is the mother-child dynamic and we don’t have to put a color on. While replying to Willow, Sandra said that maybe one day that will go away and we will be able to see with different eyes.

In 2015, Sandra spoke about her concern in anticipating the discrimination her son could face. She said that she want her son to be safe and want her son to be judged for the man he is. She further added that the society is at a point now where if we don’t do something, we will have demolished what so many remarkable people have done so far.

Last year, Sandra made an exceptional presence with her daughter Laila for a Mother’s Day special. While talking about her daughter, Sandra said that Laila is going to be the one to save the world in their family and that she is a champion.

The celebrated actress has been in a bond with her partner, photographer Bryan Randall, since 2015. Sandra broke her marriage to ex-husband Jesse James following cheating buzzes in 2010.
