Santa’s Reaction When Mother Informs Him He Is Blind And Has Autism.

This happened to Misty Wolf in December 2018 in the cheer department when she went to see Santa. When it was her turn, Misty whispered to Santa about her son Mathew’s special needs. She highlighted that Mathew was very interested in Santa.

Santa replied immediately not to say anymore and got down on the floor and greeted Mathew. She mentioned on Facebook, “He talked to Matthew for a long time. Let him feel all over him. Told him to pull his beard, feel his hat, and talk about his red suit. He asked Matthew if he wanted to feel anything and Matthew said, ‘Your eyes that twinkle’ (from the poem ”Twas the Night Before Christmas’), so Santa let him touch all over his eyes for as long as Matthew wanted.”

Mathew who is blind and has autism, felt comfortable, and was in control of his visit to Santa. Misty called the man he was the best Santa she ever met.

Santa wanted to give Matthew the ultimate experience. He asked the boy whether he had ever experienced a real reindeer. When Mathew told no, Santa carried him over to a display area featuring taxidermy reindeer. “It was great,” Misty wrote. “My heart was full, seeing Matthew so interested.”
