With third-degree burns and other wounds, the kid was brought to the Wilson Medical Center Emergency Department.

The small youngster was subsequently sent to the UNC Burn Center in Chapel Hill for further treatment.

According to authorities, the boy suffered bruises to his face, arms, head, upper and lower legs, back, and genital area. Some of the wounds were older and in the healing phase at the moment.
