Texas newlyweds were killed in a helicopter crash after leaving their wedding.

Will Byler and Bailee Ackerman Byler were both Sam Houston State University students. The pupil publication was the first to disclose their deaths.

The accident happened in Uvalde, about 85 miles (135 kilometres) west of San Antonio.

Wedding attendees have begun sending their sympathies in the descriptions of wedding images on social media.

“I’m utterly sad!” commented one Facebook buddy, noting that the plane’s pilot was also murdered.

The university’s student president stated in a statement that the married pair would always be known for their loving hearts and cheerful personalities.

“I have comfort in the idea that you departed this planet so full of pleasure and love,” another friend posted on Instagram. What a wonderful way to spend your honeymoon with Jesus.

“Thank you for allowing us to share these last few days with you. Our hearts are breaking right now, but we know this will not last forever.”

Their helicopter crashed on the Byler family’s property in southern Texas after they had been married for little over an hour.

Will Byler was a member of the school’s rodeo team and a student at the University of Houston. Bailee Ackerman Byler was pursuing a degree in agricultural communication. They were both in their final year of university.

The tragedy involved a Bell 206B helicopter, according to the National Transportation Safety Board.

On Sunday morning, the crash wreckage was located. The victims have not been properly identified, according to local authorities.

On Monday, a wedding website displayed a message from the firm that said, their sincere sympathies and prayers are with this family at their sad loss. They understand both families are grateful for all of their love, care, and generosity at this difficult period.

Gerald Green Lawrence, a pilot, has also been confirmed as one of the victims.

According to his stepdaughter, he was a captain in the Army who served in Vietnam.
