Tired Mom Alone At Home Wasn’t Expecting This From The Cable Tech Fellow.

Toddlers never seem to run out of energy. Why is that?

For parents, it can be exhaustive. Jessica Donnahoo knows about that all too well. She was having one of those rough Saturday mornings, and her 3-year-old son, Sailor, didn’t help matters much by being tremendously fussy that day.

At the same time, technician Rob Kinney was at her house to set up her TV for streaming. Sailor is actually a special child. Jessica adopted him at birth, and he has two rare brain conditions, one of which causes blindness. He’s extra sensitive, and can be extremely fussy.

Rob, a technician for Spectrum, Knew that he had to help Jessica with her son in whatever way he could. So Rob started speaking to the little boy, and he calmed down a little after hearing his voice. Then, Rob reached out his arms and took Sailor. He was able to hold and cradle him while still doing his work. And Sailor seemed satisfied.

The young boy’s mother was amazed. Says Jessica: “Rob would bounce Sailor using one arm to hold him and make internet adjustments with the other. As a Momma, I was incredibly grateful for his kindness.”

But Rob, the father of a young child himself, gave much of the credit to Jessica and her husband.

Says Rob: “For them to adopt him and take care of him on a daily basis is much more than what I did for a short period of time. God really has blessed that family and will continue to do so because of the kind and gentle spirit they have. They deserve more recognition than anyone.”
