A little child was taken to the hospital after being savagely mauled by a coyote at the beach and it was all captured on video.
The horrifying event occurred Thursday about 9:45 p.m. at Huntington Beach in Orange County… when a mother brought her two children for a swim. The time the coyote leapt towards the small child was seen on a surf cam.
Caution: it’s rather distressing. The coyote rushes up and attacks the small girl’s face, knocking her to the ground for at least 15 seconds until she scrambles and grownups notice. The young girl was hurried to the hospital in an ambulance with critical but non-life threatening wounds.

Authorities killed two coyotes soon thereafter, and they’re attempting to figure out if one of them was associated in the assault as they proceed their hunt.
The little girl is estimated to be around 2 or 3 years old. She was tested for rabies and will be nursed at the hospital. Fortunately, she is anticipated to recover completely.
