Vin Diesel was spotted bringing late actor and castmate Paul Walker’s daughter down the aisle to her future husband in a heartbreaking moment. Diesel and Walker were good friends who appeared in several Fast and Furious films together. And it appears like Diesel is continuing to commemorate his late friend’s relationship by standing up for his daughter, 22-year-old model Meadow. Meadow married her partner, actor Louis Thornton-Allan, in a private moment in the Dominican Republic earlier this month.
Walker expressed they couldn’t have hoped for anything more wonderful and personal. And it was really straightforward and uncomplicated. Louis and she both understood precisely what they wanted from the beginning. It was a small-scale festivity. They were all dancing on the beach barefoot. To cap off the evening, there was a spectacular display of fireworks, and they released lanterns into the night sky.
Paul Walker died in an automobile accident on November 30, 2013, at the age of 40. Meadow Rain, his daughter, was just 15 years old at the time. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker became fast friends and co-stars in the Fast and Furious trilogy.
More recently, the 54-year-old actor recalled the actor with a touching Instagram post a few days after what would’ve been his 48th birthday. Diesel expressed his feelings for Walker in a letter, writing, “So much to tell you… usually I would say you wouldn’t believe how I spent your birthday… but by the safe conclusion, I know you were there with me in spirit.” I’m missing you. Always.
On his birthday, his co-stars recognised him, including Jordana Brewster, who played his on-screen wife. According to Brewster, every year, she has a special manner of remembering and celebrating him on his birthday. And she thinks part of what’s good about the cast being together is that they commemorate and appreciate him as well. She continued that at times it’s still surreal that he’s not among them.
Meadow also expressed respect to her father on his 48th birthday by sharing a touching childhood flashback picture of herself with the late star. Meadow captioned the photo, “Happy birthday, daddy, I love you.”
Vin Diesel is still very connected to the Walker family. He also teased about Meadow being in the Fast & Furious franchise. “Let me just say, without giving you all of Fast 10’s secrets, nothing’s ruled out,” he said.
Meadow, the actor’s goddaughter, is also said to be “extremely protective” of him. “She’s the first person to wish me Happy Father’s Day on Father’s Day,” he said . “It’s one of the most lovely things to see her with my kids,” Diesel continued. When I watch her playing with [his 6-year-old daughter] Pauline, it hits me so hard because I can only imagine what my brother sees when he sees that.”
With spouse Paloma Jiménez, 38, the actor has two children: Similce, 13, and Vincent, 11; their 6-year-old daughter Pauline was named after Paul Walker.
