Will Camilla Parker Bowles’ kids get titles now that she is queen consort?

Regardless of the fact that their mother is now Queen Consort following Queen Elizabeth’s death on Thursday at the age of 96, Camilla Parker Bowles’ kids will not receive any regal titles.

The former Duchess of Cornwall, 75, has two adult children with her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles: Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes.

Tom and Laura will remain precisely as they are, their names will not change, Joe Little, managing editor of Majesty magazine, stated.

When questioned if they will automatically receive security from Scotland Yard royal protection officers, who care after senior members of the family, Little responded, if they haven’t needed security up until now, they won’t get it when the reign changes unless it’s necessary. But, obviously, they will not be given security.

Though Tom, 47, has a public profile as a culinary writer and critic, his sister, Laura, 44, a former art curator, does not.

Considering their connections, they are both quite low-key, and that’s how they prefer it, Little noted. They are concerned about their privacy. They would generally be in the background.

Camilla and her siblings were both in Windsor Castle in June 2022, along with their kids, to witness her installation as a royal lady of the Order of the Garter, an appointment made by her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth.

They also attended the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in London earlier this summer.

Tom and Laura will attend their mother’s coronation, and they will undoubtedly face further media scrutiny at that moment. They must be conscious of it, and Camilla will be conscious of it, Little added. A lot of things will change now, and one of the drawbacks is that newspapers will be more interested in them.

Tom and Laura would only be granted an official title or honour if they were nominated for it for their good actions.

Camilla and Charles married in April 2005, and Little stated, Charles and his stepchildren and step grandchildren have long been close friends. There is obviously a connection there. They have constant contact with the grandchildren.

Tom and his ex-wife, editor Sara Buys, have 2 kids, Lola, 14, and Freddy, 12. He has the unusual distinction of having both the new King Charles as his stepfather and godfather.

In the late 1990s, he referred to drug usage after it was claimed that Charles had given him the riot act for his conduct.

He was naughty and partied a little too hard and used to be fired all the time when he was younger, Tom remarked in 2017. However, because he liked eating and could hardly piece a sentence together, he felt he could write about food.

Following his divorce, Tom fell in love with journalist Alice Procope, who was a mom of three. Sadly, she died in March 2021, at the age of 42, following a fight with cancer.

Tom, who had been with Alice for about two years, is claimed to have been devastated by her death.

Tom had been incredibly happy with Alice and is horrified that life can be so cruel, a friend of his.

Laura, a 44-year-old former art curator, is married to accountant Harry Lopes.

Her wedding guests included Princes William and Harry – Tom and Laura are close with the brothers  and she attended both of their weddings.

Laura’s daughter Eliza, 14, was a bridesmaid for Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, during her and William’s wedding in 2011, when she was just four years old. On the balcony of Buckingham Palace, she was observed being held up by then-Prince Charles.

Laura and Harry have 12-year-old twins Gus and Louis, and Camilla adores all of her grandkids.

Camilla mentioned in her June 2022 interview that she does Wordle every day with her granddaughter.
